All kinds of people practice Vedic Meditation. With a demographic that includes working parents and busy students; creatives and corporate executives, retirees and military recruits, a "typical" meditator is  hard to pin down. The common denominator is a desire to combat stress, feel more energized, and enjoy more of each day. Typically, people have little or no meditation experience when they first learn this technique.  Mastering the technique is a simple process of Step One, Two, Three.

Step One: Attend an Introduction to Meditation Talk
The first step in learning to meditate is to attend an IntroductoryTalk. During this informal lecture, you'll get the whole picture of Vedic meditation: its purpose, its benefits, and how it is taught. All teachers of Vedic meditation offer this for free.

Step Two: Take the Basic Meditation Course
The second step is to attend a Vedic Meditation Course, comprising of four consecutive 90-minute sessions, scheduled around work hours. In some areas there is a flat course fee, and in others, your course fee is determined on a sliding scale basis.  The fee is outlined in more detail at the Introductory Talk.

Step Three: Get Support
The third step is to keep your meditation on track by participating in the ongoing support opportunities listed here. Once you have learned, you may attend group meditations at Vedic Meditation centers worldwide whenever you like, at no extra cost.
